Dress Is Forever 21

Hello my loves!

So lately I’ve been in a huge funk and today I wanted to show up for myself. I’ve literally been so uninspired and it has put a stunt on my creative side. I envisioned this year a little differently and I’m sure a lot of you did too. I have so many things I wanted to work on that I had to pause myself and not rush things. If you know me on a personal level, I’m the most impatient person you’ll ever meet LOL. But I’m learning to break things down into smaller goals so I can break some of these habits. Changing my attitude is number one on my list in order to break some habits!

Wardrobe change is a must since all I’ve been wearing lately is sweats. I decided to make myself feel good and brightened myself up with this Forever 21 dress. You can click the link in the picture above for the dress.

’90s Jeans

Hey guys, Welcome back!

Everyday I’m reminded of all the goals I’ve set for myself and one of them is to keep creating/writing. So I wanted to talk about some of these recognizable fashion trends.

“The ’90s are back!”

Wrap Coats and White shoes

The ’90s are back and with a bit of a 2020 twist! We’re seeing these trends in advertisements, within the streets and styled on our favorite celebs. If I had to put together all of my favorite ’90s trends it would be track pants, cropped tops, bomber jackets, oversized sweaters and dad sneakers. These trend comebacks are definitely giving me ’90s hip hop vibes or better yet who remembers the “Spice Girls!?!?” (Ahhh total throwback). Looking back now, I recall wearing colorful tube tops, platforms, straight leg denim pants and flannel shirts (talk about iconic). I’m pretty sure some outfits I wouldn’t be caught dead in today but with marked denim cuts you can’t go wrong.

Now that these trending denim jeans are back, I’m sure we’ll see brands take these looks to the next level. I’m seriously loving how most of the jeans appear similar to the ones back in the ‘90’s. With elevated looks to high-waist jeans, tapered fits, ankle cropped cuts and of course my favorite the mom jean. I’ve noticed that some of the jeans for 2020 seem to have more of a softer cut and are less baggy then it’s original cut. I guess it also depends on the style or the look you’re going for. I’ve also come across a lot of loose fits with more of a cropped wide-leg and a high-waist flared look if you’re going for more of a baggy style.

I’ve been quite the busy bee lately, so I haven’t had the chance to sit down and write. Now that I’m back, let’s talk prints!

Have you ever just stood in front of your closet wondering what the heck am I going to wear? Yeah, well that’s most definitely me. I have so many clothes but nothing to ever wear. As the trends/seasons are consistently changing, my closet is always evolving. I just think it’s a better excuse for me to shop and buy new things lol.

DID YOU SAY DENIM?

Hey guys! I’m back with a little something different today. 

Now I didn’t want my blog to be based off one topic because I wanted to share different aspects of my life. Being a mom is my number one job and I absolutely love it. But I definitely had to adapt to my new lifestyle which wasn’t easy for me. So I’m definitely out of my comfort zone with certain things. So I figured why not share what’s in my closet.

Denim Romper…

Whether it’s Winter, spring, summer or fall, denim is for sure a big staple piece in my closet. Although the trend has been around for years now, I felt for this 2019 season the trends were by far FIRE! Down to the Paperbag tie-belt, the denim dresses, the mom jean and of course my fav the denim romper.
